Aaron Hansen
Aaron Hansen is an educator, international speaker, coach, consultant, and author who specializes in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Response to Intervention (RTI), and student empowerment. He has been recognized as a nationally and internationally known presenter, working with schools and districts to help teachers and leaders transform their practice and improve student learning. Earlier in his career, he served as a principal at White Pine Middle School in Nevada, where he led the school’s transformation into a nationally recognized, high-achieving school. His work and perspectives on education have been featured on major media outlets including CNN, ABC, FOX News, and the BBC.
Hansen is the author of Heroes Within: A Framework for Empowering Students to Own Their Learning Journeys, which focuses on helping educators foster hope, self-efficacy, and ownership in students by positioning them as the heroes of their own learning stories. He is also the author of How to Develop PLCs for Singletons and Small Schools (Creating Vertical, Virtual, and Interdisciplinary Teams to Eliminate Teacher Isolation) and a contributing author to It’s About Time: Planning Interventions and Extensions in Secondary Schools, reflecting his longstanding expertise in collaborative cultures and intervention systems.
