Abigail Gross

Abigail “Abby” Gross is an English language arts teacher and coauthor of Keeping the Wonder: An Educator’s Guide to Magical, Engaging, and Joyful Learning, a professional development book for K–12 educators written with Jenna Copper, Ashley Bible, and Staci Lamb. She has taught high school English, including American literature, journalism, and newspaper, and later moved into teaching middle school reading.

Gross is also a coauthor of the picture book The Magic of Wonder, which extends the classroom “wonder” philosophy to young readers. In addition to her classroom teaching, she creates instructional resources, blogs at writeonwithmissg.com, and presents at Keeping the Wonder workshops focused on student-centered, curiosity-driven learning.
