Adam Peterson
Adam Peterson is an award-winning pre-K and kindergarten educator, best-selling author, and internationally recognized speaker focused on play-based learning and early childhood education. After spending more than a decade as a kindergarten teacher, he now works with educators through seminars and professional development, sharing strategies to create classrooms that emphasize creativity, purposeful play, hands-on learning, and positive social interactions.
He is the author of Teach, Play, Learn!: How to Create a Purposeful Play-Driven Classroom, a best-selling book on integrating play into daily instruction, as well as numerous children’s books. Peterson also develops resources for teachers, including materials on improving young students’ social behavior, and hosts professional learning sessions on using purposeful play to support English language learners and other early learners.
