Adam Saenz
Adam L. Sáenz is a licensed psychologist, ordained minister, and emotional intelligence expert whose work focuses on stress management, effective relationship building, personality assessment, and social and emotional learning in educational settings. He earned his Ph.D. in School Psychology from Texas A&M University as a U.S. Department of Education doctoral fellow, completing predoctoral clinical training at Harvard Medical School and a postdoctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He also holds a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from the Graduate Theological Foundation, with residency at Christ Church College, Oxford University.
Sáenz is the author of the bestselling The Power of a Teacher: Restoring Hope and Well-Being to Change Lives, as well as Relationships That Work: Four Ways to Connect (and Set Boundaries) with Colleagues, Students, and Parents (co‑authored with Jeremy Dew) and The EQ Intervention: Shaping a Self-Aware Generation Through Social and Emotional Learning. His books grow out of years of research and professional development in school districts nationwide and have received recognition, including an Independent Publisher Association Gold medal in psychology for The EQ Intervention.
