Alaine Roberson
Alaine Roberson is an author, former educator, and creative professional whose work centers on children’s storytelling, imagination, and social-emotional learning. She is the co-author of the Chloé Wonders series, a collection of children’s books that follow a curious and thoughtful young girl as she explores everyday questions, emotions, and experiences. Through engaging stories and relatable situations, the series encourages young readers to develop empathy, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
Before pursuing writing full time, Alaine spent more than two decades as an educator with the New York City Department of Education. Her extensive experience working with children and families deeply informs her storytelling, ensuring that her books are both developmentally meaningful and emotionally resonant for young readers.
In addition to her work as an author, Alaine is a talent manager and creative collaborator in theater, television, and film. She works closely with artists to develop original content and support creative voices across multiple mediums. She is also the co-founder of a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to providing performance training and creative opportunities for young people in underserved communities.
Alaine believes strongly in the power of storytelling to inspire curiosity, foster connection, and empower children to see themselves as capable, thoughtful participants in the world. Through her books and creative work, she seeks to nurture imagination, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
