Alaine Roberson

Alaine Roberson is a children’s book author, former educator, and talent manager who co-writes the Chloé Wonders series with actor Jamie Hector, including the sets Chloé Wonders (Single-Copy Set) and Chloé Wonders (Multiple-Copy Set): Stories That Encourage Children to Ask Questions and Solve Problems. The series, inspired by Hector’s real-life daughter, follows curious young Chloé as she explores everyday questions and builds social-emotional skills, with titles such as “Why Is Butter Sad?”, “Chloé’s New Hairdo,” and stories later adapted into Haitian Creole in the collection Our Community.

Roberson previously spent more than 20 years as an educator in the New York City Department of Education before transitioning into talent management for stage, television, and film. She has co-written scripts for film and television with Jamie Hector, develops content for the media production company OvrDo Media, and is co-founder of Moving Mountains Inc., a nonprofit providing performing arts training to children in underserved urban communities.
