Alisa Simeral is a school-turnaround specialist and veteran educator whose work focuses on building reflective practice and leadership capacity in schools. She has guided school-based reform efforts as a teacher, dean, instructional coach, school administrator, professional developer, and instructional leadership consultant, and she has coauthored several education books with Pete Hall, including Building Teachers’ Capacity for Success (2008), Teach, Reflect, Learn (2015), The Principal Influence (2016), and Creating a Culture of Reflective Practice: Building Capacity for Schoolwide Success (2017).
