Amanda Ripley is a New York Times bestselling author and investigative journalist known for writing about human behavior, conflict, and education. Her books include High Conflict: Why We Get Trapped and How We Get Out, The Smartest Kids in the World—and How They Got That Way, and The Unthinkable.

She has written for Time, The Atlantic, and the Washington Post, and her work has also appeared in other major publications. Ripley is the co-founder of Good Conflict, a media and training company focused on helping people navigate conflict.
