Amy B. Anderson is a Seattle-based online educational therapist who specializes in supporting neurodiverse students in mathematics and executive functioning skills through individualized one-on-one instruction. Before becoming an educational therapist, she spent about ten years teaching fifth-grade math and science in University Place, Washington, working directly with upper-elementary students in classroom settings.
Anderson is a co-author of Exploring Dyscalculia: Learning From and Supporting Students, part of the Corwin Mathematics Series, alongside Katherine Lewis and Dylan Lynn. In this work, she contributes practical, student-centered approaches for unlocking access to mathematics for learners with dyscalculia and related challenges.
