Amy Tepper

Amy Tepper is an educational coach, author, and consultant with nearly 30 years of experience in K–12 education, including roles as a teacher, administrator, and program director across virtual, homeschool, blended, and public school settings. Earlier in her career, she taught English at various grade levels, served as Executive Director of a Sylvan Learning Center, opened an alternative 6–12 school in Okaloosa County, Florida, and supported Florida high school redesign and career education reform through statewide technical assistance. She has also provided instructional and administrative coaching at an international school in Panama and has conducted thousands of classroom visits as a peer validator and embedded coach focused on high‑quality observation, feedback, and teaching and learning.

Tepper is the co‑author of _Feedback to Feed Forward: 31 Strategies to Lead Learning_, a step‑by‑step guide to building observers’ capacity for high‑quality, impactful feedback to teachers, published by Corwin. She is also co‑author of _Learner‑Focused Feedback: 19 Strategies to Observe for Impact_, which extends this work by helping leaders, coaches, and teachers collect relevant evidence and develop effective feedback to cultivate a culture of learning. She has presented at state, national, and international conferences on instructional leadership and feedback practices.
