Andrea Thompson

Andrea Thompson is a science writer and editor specializing in climate change, weather, Earth science, and the environment. She is a senior editor for Earth and environment at Scientific American and previously worked as a senior writer at Climate Central and as a reporter and editor at Live Science. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in atmospheric chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a graduate degree in science, health, and environmental reporting from New York University.

Thompson is credited as the co-writer and editor of Tired of Nagging?: 30 Days to Positive Parenting, published by HarperCollins in 1997.
