Andy Hargreaves
Andy Hargreaves is an internationally recognized scholar of education and social change, serving as a research professor at the Lynch School of Education and Human Development at Boston College and in a professorial role at the University of Ottawa. He is an elected member of the US National Academy of Education, a former president of the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement, and has advised governments in Ontario, Scotland, and New Brunswick on education policy. He is the creator and president of the ARC Education Collaboratory (also known as the ARC Education Project), a global network of education ministers and professional leaders focused on excellence, equity, wellbeing, inclusion, democracy, and human rights in education.
Hargreaves has authored or co-authored more than 30 books, and almost 40 books overall, many of which have received outstanding book awards from professional and scholarly organizations.
