Annie Brock

Annie Brock is a former high school English teacher and library media specialist who has become a freelance writer and educational technology consultant. She holds a degree in journalism from Kansas State University and earned her secondary English education credentials from Washburn University. Much of her career has focused on applying growth mindset research in K–12 classrooms and designing practical resources for educators.

Brock is the coauthor of The Growth Mindset Coach: A Teacher’s Month-by-Month Handbook for Empowering Students to Achieve, along with Heather Hundley. She has also coauthored several related books for educators, including The Growth Mindset Playbook, In Other Words: Phrases for Growth Mindset, My Growth Mindset Journal, The Growth Mindset Classroom-Ready Resource Book, and Teach Writing with Growth Mindset, and is the author of Introduction to Google Classroom.
