Antxon Olarrea

Antxon Olarrea is a Spanish linguist and professor emeritus in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Arizona. According to the University of Arizona, he earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics with a specialization in Syntactic Theory from the University of Washington in 1997 and has taught Spanish linguistics there for many years.

He is a coauthor of Introducción a la lingüística hispánica with José Ignacio Hualde and Anna María Escobar, a Cambridge University Press textbook written in Spanish on Spanish linguistics.
