Barbara Golub
Barbara Golub is an independent literacy consultant and educator based in West Hartford, Connecticut. She describes more than 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, and consultant, and says she taught grades 2 and 5 before moving into consulting and dyslexia-focused work. She earned a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her professional profile lists memberships in the International Literacy Association, the National Council of Teachers of English, the International Dyslexia Association, and The Reading League of CT.
Golub is a co-author of _Infusing Grammar Into the Writer’s Workshop_ with Amy Benjamin, a professional book for K–6 teachers published by Routledge/Taylor & Francis. Her online author biography also notes that she was a staff developer at the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project and that she has supported schools in New York City, across the country, and internationally.
