Beth Pandolpho

Beth Pandolpho is an instructional coach, educator, writer, and consultant who has taught English at the high school and college levels for more than twenty years. She serves as a Teacher Resource Specialist for Curriculum and Instruction for grades 6–12 in the West Windsor–Plainsboro Regional School District, where she focuses on curriculum, instructional practices, and supporting classroom culture with a strong social and emotional foundation. Her work is grounded in promoting equity and access and in pursuing further education in diversity, equity, inclusivity, and teaching for critical consciousness.

Pandolpho is the author of The Engaging ELA Classroom: Twenty-Five Essential Practices to Inspire Secondary Students, a guide for secondary English language arts teachers that offers 25 strategies to cultivate student engagement, independent learning, and stronger literary analysis and inquiry. She has also written I’m Listening: How Teacher–Student Relationships Improve Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening and coauthored Choose Your Own Master Class: Urgent Ideas to Invigorate Your Professional Learning, in addition to contributing articles to outlets such as Edutopia, Education Week, Educational Leadership, and The New York Times Learning Network.
