Brad M. Currie

Brad M. Currie is an assistant superintendent and long-time educator in the Chester School District in Chester, New Jersey, where he has also served as director of planning, research, and evaluation, vice principal, and supervisor of instruction. He began his career in 2001 as a middle school social studies and computer applications teacher in the Hanover Township School District in Whippany, New Jersey, after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and Social Studies from Rider University, and later completed a Master’s in Educational Administration at Rider. Currie is the 2017 NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year and 2017 NJPSA Visionary Vice Principal/Assistant Principal of the Year, and is part of the ASCD Emerging Leaders Class of 2014. He is also a Google Certified Trainer/Educator, an adjunct professor at Rider University and Drew University, and presents nationally on educational leadership, technology integration, and connected learning.
