Bradley R. Staats
Bradley R. Staats is an operations scholar and behavioral scientist whose work focuses on how individuals, teams, and organizations can learn and perform at their best. He is the Ellison Distinguished Professor of Operations at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, where he also serves as Senior Associate Dean of Strategy and Academics and founder and faculty director of the Center for the Business of Health. Staats is the author of Never Stop Learning: Stay Relevant, Reinvent Yourself, and Thrive (Harvard Business Review Press, 2018), an award-winning book that outlines a practical framework for becoming a dynamic, lifelong learner in the modern world of work.
Staats earned both his MBA and Doctorate in Technology and Operations Management from Harvard Business School, after completing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Plan II and Spanish with honors at The University of Texas at Austin. Before his academic career, he worked in venture capital at a leading firm in the southeastern United States, and today he collaborates with organizations worldwide on learning and analytics strategies, especially in healthcare, technology, and service industries.
