Brian Mitchell Pete (often credited as Brian M. Pete) is an education consultant and author specializing in professional development for teachers and school leaders. He is cofounder and CEO of Robin Fogarty & Associates, where he works primarily with adult learners in schools and educational agencies across the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East. Educated at DePaul University in Chicago, Pete focuses on helping educators transfer what they learn in professional development settings into practical classroom strategies.
Pete is coauthor of From Staff Room to Classroom: A Guide for Planning and Coaching Professional Development, which provides tools and strategies for designing, presenting, facilitating, and coaching effective staff development and has been recognized with a 2006 National Staff Development Council book award.
