C. Bobbi Hansen

C. Bobbi Hansen is an associate professor in the School of Leadership and Education Sciences at the University of San Diego and has been twice named a University Professor, the university’s highest academic honor. She holds an Ed.D. from the University of Southern California and an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin, and her work focuses on brain-informed teaching, evidence-based pedagogy, and social-emotional learning.

Hansen has over 30 years of experience in education as a teacher, curriculum director, and teacher educator, and has published more than 30 works, including coauthoring two textbooks. Her books include The Heart and Science of Teaching and Teaching With Superpowers: Ten Brain-Informed Practices.
