Carl Glickman
Carl Glickman is professor emeritus of education at the University of Georgia and president of the Institute for Schools, Education, and Democracy. He began his career as a Teacher Corps intern in the rural South and later served as a principal of award-winning schools in New Hampshire.
He has written extensively on school leadership, educational renewal, and the moral purpose of education. His books include _Leadership for Learning: How to Help Teachers Succeed_, _Developmental Supervision_, and the revised _Leadership for Learning: How to Bring Out the Best in Every Teacher_, coauthored with Rebecca West Burns; sources describe him as having authored or edited 13 to 14 books overall.
