Carol Lynn McClintic

Carol Lynn McClintic is an educational leader and classroom teacher with experience spanning preschool, elementary, middle, high school, and university levels. She has served as a master teacher—supervising more than eighteen student teachers and working as a BITSA and peer coach—as well as a mentor and model teacher. McClintic has led and co-led numerous professional development workshops in her district, taught education extension courses for teachers at local universities, and co‑created a certificate program in conflict resolution. She has coordinated university and district grant programs and has consulted with Caine Learning since 1995, participating in workshops across the United States. After receiving multiple teaching awards, she retired from active teaching in 2002 following a 35‑year career.

As an author, McClintic co‑authored 12 Brain/Mind Learning Principles in Action: The Fieldbook for Making Connections, Teaching, and the Human Brain and subsequent editions focused on developing executive functions and higher‑order thinking, with Renate Nummela Caine, Geoffrey Caine, and Karl J.
