Chantal Sicile-Kira

Chantal Sicile-Kira is an award-winning author, speaker, and autism advocate who has worked in the field of autism and developmental disabilities for more than 25 years. Before becoming a parent, she worked with adolescents and young adults with developmental disabilities at Fairview State Hospital in California, teaching daily-living, community-participation, and leisure skills. She later founded AutismCollege.com, an educational resource and training platform for parents and educators.

Her books include Autism Spectrum Disorder (revised), Autism Life Skills, Adolescents on the Autism Spectrum, A Full Life with Autism (with Jeremy Sicile-Kira), and What Is Autism? She has also contributed to Psychology Today and HuffPost.
