Charles Wibbelsman

Charles Wibbelsman, M.D., is an adolescent-medicine specialist and clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He served for many years as chairman of the Chiefs of Adolescent Medicine for Kaiser Permanente’s Northern California medical group and has served on the board of directors of Larkin Street Youth Services.

Wibbelsman co-authored The Teenage Body Book with Kathy McCoy, Ph.D., including the revised and updated edition published by Hatherleigh Press in 2016. The book addresses adolescent health, development, nutrition, fitness, emotions, sexuality, and related concerns.
