Christina Diaz Gonzalez

Christina Diaz Gonzalez is an Edgar Award–winning and USA TODAY bestselling author of middle-grade and young adult fiction, including the graphic novel Invisible, the mystery novel Concealed, and the historical novel The Red Umbrella. Her body of work also includes titles such as A Thunderous Whisper, the Moving Target duology, Stormspeaker, and The Bluest Sky, and her books have appeared on numerous state reading lists and received distinctions from the American Library Association, the Junior Library Guild, and the International Reading Association.

Before becoming a full-time writer, Gonzalez worked for many years as an attorney and later transitioned to writing novels. Her books have been used in school and state-wide reading programs across more than thirty states, and have achieved international recognition through honors such as Japan’s Sakura Medal nominations and International Latino Book Awards. She lives with her family in Miami, Florida.
