Christina Nosek

Christina Nosek is a San Francisco Bay Area educator, author, and literacy staff developer. She has taught for more than 20 years and has also worked as a reading specialist and literacy coach; she currently teaches elementary students and supports teachers in building reading and writing communities.

She is the co-author of To Know and Nurture a Reader: Conferring with Confidence and Joy and the author of Answers to Your Biggest Questions About Teaching Elementary Reading: Five to Thrive. Her writing and presentations focus on elementary literacy, conferring with readers, and supporting teachers in reflective, joyful practice.
