Christine Almeda is a Filipino-American illustrator and character designer from New Jersey. She graduated from Montclair State University with a BFA in Animation and Illustration, focusing on character design and children’s media, and has worked on more than 20 books for children.
Her published work includes illustrating Maya and the Robot by Eve L. Ewing, as well as books such as Lolo’s Sari-Sari Store and Box of Dreams. Her website also notes that she has worked for clients including The New York Times, Scholastic, and Penguin Random House.
