Christopher Willard
Christopher Willard, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist, author, and consultant whose work focuses on mindfulness and mental health for children, adolescents, and families. He teaches at Harvard Medical School and is based in the Boston/Cambridge area, where he also serves on the board of directors of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy and the Mindfulness in Education Network. An internationally sought-after speaker, he has presented at TEDx events and has led workshops in more than two dozen countries.
Willard is the author of more than a dozen books and over eighteen publications for children and adults, including Growing Up Mindful, Raising Resilience, The Breathing Book, Alphabreaths, Alphabreaths Too, Child’s Mind, and The Mindfulness for Teen Anxiety Workbook. His work also encompasses card decks and activity books such as Growing Mindful and The Mindfulness Skills Activity Book for Children. He is the author of The Life of a Crayon: A Colorful Story of Never-Ending Beginnings, a picture book for children ages 4–8, co-created with Tara Wosiski and illustrated by Holly Clifton-Brown.
