Cindy Harrison

Cindy Harrison is an educational consultant and staff development leader best known for her coauthored work on instructional coaching and teacher leadership. She is coauthor, with Joellen Killion, of Taking the Lead: New Roles for Teachers and School-Based Coaches (original 2006 edition and updated second edition), a widely cited resource that outlines ten key roles for school-based coaches and teacher leaders and is published by Learning Forward (formerly the National Staff Development Council).

Harrison has been described in professional resources as a respected staff development leader who has led district-level efforts, worked with district administrators, and served as a consultant across the United States, including in her leadership roles with the National Staff Development Council/Learning Forward.
