Clair Baker

Clair Baker is a writer of decodable, phonics-based reading materials for older beginning and catch-up readers, best known for her work with Phonic Books. She is credited as co-author (with Tamar/Tami Reis‑Frankfort) of the Moon Dogs Series, including Sets 1–3 and related workbooks and activity books that systematically develop phonics skills through graded, humorous stories aimed at struggling readers aged roughly 8–14.
