Claudia L. Edwards

Claudia L. Edwards is an independent educational consultant and graduate coordinator for the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. She is a retired classroom teacher with 29 years of teaching experience in the Oklahoma public school system and earned both her B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from Cameron University.

Edwards is coauthor of Engaging Teachers in Classroom Walkthroughs (ASCD, 2013) and Classroom Walkthroughs to Improve Teaching and Learning (Eye On Education, 2010), both focused on using classroom walkthroughs to improve teaching and learning and to involve teachers in the observation process. She has also coauthored articles in Educational Leadership, Florida Educational Leadership, and the Oklahoma Middle Level Education Association Journal, and has presented at numerous national professional conferences.
