Clay Spinuzzi

Clay Spinuzzi is a professor of rhetoric and writing at The University of Texas at Austin, where he studies workplace organization, communication, collaboration, and innovation. He holds a B.S. in computer science and an M.A. in English from the University of North Texas, as well as a Ph.D. in rhetoric and professional communication from Iowa State University.

His books include Tracing Genres through Organizations, Network, Topsight, All Edge, and Triangles and Tribulations: Translations, Betrayals, and the Making of Cultural-Historical Activity Theory. His research and publications address activity theory, genre theory, workplace studies, organizational analysis, and computer-mediated activity.
