Colleen Driggs
Colleen Driggs is an educator and literacy specialist who serves as Managing Director of Curriculum and School Support for the Teach Like a Champion team. She is a former middle school literacy and science teacher and coach, having taught in New York City, New Haven (Connecticut), and at Rochester Prep Middle School in Rochester, where she chaired the Reading Department and led literacy curriculum and assessment development. Driggs holds a BA in psychology and education from Hamilton College and a Master of Education from Pace University.
Within Teach Like a Champion, Driggs has played a central role in professional development, training teachers and school leaders nationwide. She is coauthor of Reading Reconsidered: A Practical Guide to Rigorous Literacy Instruction and The Teach Like a Champion Guide to the Science of Reading: Translating Research to Reignite Joy and Meaning in the Classroom, both written with Doug Lemov and Erica Woolway.
