Connie Schofield-Morrison is a mother, author, and entrepreneur based in Atlanta, Georgia. She has written multiple children’s books, including I Got the Rhythm (2014), I Got the Christmas Spirit (2018), I Got the School Spirit (2020), and Stitch by Stitch: Elizabeth Hobbs Keckly Sews Her Way to Freedom (2021).
According to biographical information published online, she spent much of her childhood reading and writing poetry, songs, and fairy tales, and she began her publishing career by collaborating with her husband, illustrator Frank Morrison. She also helped run Morrison Graphics, an art gallery and business she and Frank Morrison launched in 1999.
