Craig E Buck

Craig E. “Buck” Buck, K4IA, is an Amateur Extra Class amateur radio operator who was first licensed in the mid-1960s as a teenager. He has earned a place on the ARRL DXCC Honor Roll with 334 out of 340 entities confirmed and holds the 8-Band DXCC award, recognizing confirmed contacts on eight amateur bands. An active instructor and Volunteer Examiner, he has been named Elmer (Trainer) of the Year three times by the Rappahannock Valley Amateur Radio Club.

Buck is the creator of the Easy Way Ham Books series, a line of study and operating guides aimed at simplifying amateur radio licensing and operation. His titles include Pass Your Amateur Radio Technician Class Test – The Easy Way, Pass Your Amateur Radio General Class Test – The Easy Way, Pass Your Amateur Radio Extra Class Test – The Easy Way, DX – The Easy Way, How to Get on HF – The Easy Way, and Prepper Communications – The Easy Way.
