Cris Tovani
Cris Tovani is a veteran K–12 teacher, literacy consultant, and nationally known expert on reading, writing, and assessment in secondary classrooms. She received the International Literacy Association’s 2017 Adolescent Literacy Thought Leader Award and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado and the University of Denver.
Tovani has taught students from elementary through high school and is associated with the Denver-based Public Education & Business Coalition (PEBC), where she has also worked as a staff developer.
