Dale Ripley
Dale Ripley is an educator and author with more than 35 years of teaching experience across elementary, middle, high school, college, and university settings. He has taught in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta, and sources also describe him as having served as a principal and superintendent in school districts, as well as working in high-needs and First Nations school communities.
Ripley holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from the University of Alberta, with his PhD focused on curriculum design and educational leadership. He is the author of The Successful Teacher’s Survival Kit: 83 Simple Things That Successful Teachers Do to Thrive in the Classroom and The Tactical Teacher: Proven Strategies to Positively Influence Student Learning and Classroom Behavior, and he also wrote Lessons From Great Teachers to Teachers Who Want to Be Great.
