Dan Feigelson

Dan Feigelson is a literacy consultant and former New York City educator who has led institutes, workshops, and lab sites on reading and writing instruction around the world. He worked for decades in New York City public schools as a teacher, staff developer, curriculum writer, principal, and local superintendent, and was an early member of the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project.

He is the author of Radical Listening: Reading and Writing Conferences to Reach All Students and earlier books including Reading Projects Reimagined: Student-Driven Conferences to Deepen Critical Thinking and Practical Punctuation: Lessons in Rule Making and Rule Breaking in Elementary Writing.
