Dana Clark

Dana Clark is a literacy staff developer and consultant with Gravity Goldberg, LLC and the co-author of Read-Alouds with Heart: Literacy Lessons That Build Community, Comprehension, and Cultural Competency for both Grades K–2 and Grades 3–5. She has over two decades of experience as a classroom teacher and literacy coach and now works with K–12 educators to implement balanced, research-informed literacy practices.

In collaboration with co-authors Keisha Smith-Carrington and Jigisha Vyas, Clark’s Read-Alouds with Heart books provide multicultural mentor-text–based lessons that help teachers build classroom community, deepen comprehension, and support students’ cultural competency through read-alouds.
