Daniel A. Joseph

Daniel A. Joseph is the founder of CBE Solutions, an education consulting organization focused on helping districts shift from traditional, time-based schooling to competency-based learning systems. He has worked in education for more than 30 years, supporting district, state, and national efforts related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, career pathways, and competency-based learning implementation.

Joseph is a co-author of Deeper Competency-Based Learning: Making Equitable, Student-Centered, Sustainable Shifts with Karin Hess and Rose Colby. Published profiles also describe him as a former school and district leader who has taught graduate-level courses at Southern New Hampshire University and Saint Joseph’s College of Maine.
