Darin A. Thompson is an education consultant, author, and business coach who focuses on helping school leaders drive sustainable improvement in their schools. He is the owner of Pivotal Leaders Group, LLC, an education consulting company that works with principals, assistant principals, and other school leaders to increase the impact and longevity of their improvement efforts. Thompson is the author of The Four Cornerstones of Effective Schools: How to Build Lasting Success, a book that outlines a framework for building and maintaining high-performing schools.

Thompson holds multiple degrees in educational leadership and administration from Regent University, including a Doctor of Education, Educational Specialist, and Master of Education, and also earned a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University.
