David M. Hulac

David M. Hulac, PhD, NCSP, is a professor of school psychology at the University of Northern Colorado and the AM & Jo Winchester Distinguished Professor of School Psychology. His background includes a PhD from the University of Northern Colorado, an MA in special education from the University of Denver, and a BS in mathematics from Lafayette College; he is also a licensed psychologist and licensed school psychologist in Colorado.

Hulac’s research focuses on classroom management, behavioral assessment, prevention, and response to intervention for behavior and academics. He is the coauthor of Evidence-Based Strategies for Effective Classroom Management with Amy M. Briesch, and he has also coauthored Behavioral Interventions in Schools: A Response to Intervention Guidebook.
