Dawn Dee Miller
Dawn Miller, Ph.D., is an associate director of technical assistance at the SWIFT Education Center within the University of Kansas’ Life Span Institute. Her career has focused on the design and implementation of inclusive, equity-driven multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), working with educators and leaders at state and district levels on planning, professional learning, and evaluation of integrated MTSS frameworks.
Miller is the co-author of Leading Equity-Based MTSS for All Students, published by Corwin and credited to Amy McCart and Dawn Miller (also listed as Dawn Dee/Dawn D. Miller in various catalog records). She has contributed to several volumes of Best Practices in School Psychology and other publications on MTSS, system design, and educational equity, and is recognized nationally for her leadership in networks devoted to advancing equitable MTSS implementation.
