Deborah M. Lee is a literacy educator who collaborated with Kathy Barclay and Laura Stewart on The Everything Guide to Informational Texts, K–2: Best Texts, Best Practices, published by Corwin in 2014 as part of the Corwin Literacy series. In this role, she contributed to practical tools and checklists that help K–2 teachers select and evaluate high‑quality informational texts and design effective nonfiction reading experiences for young children.
Her work on The Everything Guide to Informational Texts, K–2 focuses on criteria for evaluating informational literature, attention to visual appeal and accuracy, and strategies that support early readers’ comprehension and engagement with nonfiction texts in alignment with standards for informational reading in the primary grades.
