Debra Masters

Debra Masters is an education specialist and whole-school improvement expert based in New Zealand. She was a director of Visible Learningplus and one of the program’s primary architects, working closely with John Hattie to develop, deliver, and implement Visible Learning professional development for teachers and schools internationally. Her background includes teaching at multiple levels of schooling and senior education roles with the Australian and New Zealand governments.

Masters co-authored Visible Learning into Action: International Case Studies of Impact (2015) with John Hattie and Kate Birch. The book presents international case studies of schools applying Visible Learning principles in practice.
