Diana Sisson
Diana Sisson is a literacy consultant and author who works with schools and speaks internationally on improving literacy instruction, alongside her co-author and colleague Betsy Sisson. She is co-author of The Literacy Coaching Handbook: Working with Teachers to Increase Student Achievement, a research-based guide that offers strategies for literacy coaches and school leaders to support teachers and raise student achievement, published by Routledge and used in graduate-level coursework on literacy coaching.
Together with Betsy Sisson, she has also authored Close Reading in Elementary School: Bringing Readers and Texts Together (2nd ed.), which focuses on practical, research-informed approaches to close reading in the elementary grades and is published by Routledge.
