Diane Alber

Diane Alber is an Arizona-based children’s book author and illustrator known for creating stories that encourage creativity, celebrate uniqueness, and help children understand emotions and life skills. She has had a passion for art since early childhood and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (Painting) from Arizona State University.

Since self-publishing her first children’s book in 2017, Alber has created dozens of titles, including the bestselling I’m Not Just a Scribble, Scribble Stones, the A Little SPOT series, and Never Let a Unicorn Scribble!. Snippets: A Story About Paper Shapes, which she wrote and illustrated, is one of her popular books and uses paper shapes to explore kindness, individuality, and collaboration. Alber is also the creator and founder of National Scribble Day, celebrated annually on March 27.
