Dina Brulles

Dina Brulles, Ph.D., is a nationally recognized leader in gifted education and serves as the Gifted Program Coordinator at the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. She previously was the longtime Director of Gifted Education in the Paradise Valley Unified School District in Arizona, where she developed a continuum of gifted programs and implemented inclusive models such as schoolwide cluster grouping to better serve diverse gifted learners. Brulles holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in gifted education from Arizona State University.

Her work focuses on equitable and inclusive identification practices and programming in gifted education, and she has received multiple national honors, including the NAGC Anne/Ann F. Isaacs Distinguished Service/Founder’s Memorial Award (2022) and the NAGC Book of the Year Award for practitioners (2019 and 2020), as well as the inaugural NAGC Gifted Coordinator Award (2014) and the NAGC Professional Development Network Award (2013).
