Dr. Laura Clarke, Ed.D., is a special education professional and educator who serves as Program Director for Special Education and Assistant Professor of Instruction at Xavier University. Xavier University describes her work as focused on evidence-based practices for students with disabilities, including IEP development, transition planning, inclusive education, UDL, MTSS, and assistive technology, and notes that she has more than 20 years of experience across K–12 schools, higher education, and district leadership.
Her background also includes a Doctor of Education in Special Education from the University of Cincinnati, and her professional experience has included roles as a teacher, assistant professor, and district special education leader.
