Eddie Moore

Dr. Eddie Moore Jr. is an educator, diversity consultant, and scholar whose work focuses on race, privilege, leadership, and education. He earned a PhD in educational leadership from the University of Iowa, with research on Black football players at Division III colleges. In 1996, he founded America & MOORE, LLC, a diversity and leadership training firm, and he later founded The Privilege Institute and the White Privilege Conference.

Moore is a cofounder of the journal Understanding and Dismantling Privilege and has coedited several books, including The Guide for White Women Who Teach Black Boys and Teaching Beautiful Brilliant Black Girls. The latter was published in 2021 with Omobolade Delano-Oriaran, Marguerite W. Penick, Shemariah J. Arki, Ali Michael, and Orinthia Swindell.
