Editors of Merriam-Webster are the professional editorial staff of Merriam-Webster, Inc., the American dictionary publisher that has produced authoritative English-language reference works since the mid‑19th century. Working as a large team of lexicographers, writers, and editors, they are responsible for developing and maintaining Merriam‑Webster’s print and digital dictionaries, thesauruses, and other language reference materials for audiences ranging from young students to adults.
